Yesterday they played together in the streets and squares of Municipio 3, offering music to anyone who wanted to listen, even just by looking out of their windows and balconies. The underlying theme of Musicamorfosi 's Magic Bus is " Ciumbia la Cumbia ." Ciumbia is the typical Milanese expression of surprise and amazement, while Cumbia is a term that refers to a genre that unabashedly intertwines African, indigenous, and European influences. With "Ciumbia la Cumbia," the musicians and concert organizers aimed to give everyone moments of amazement and wonder, with the desire to blend cultures and integrate worlds rather than divide them. On the Magic Bus stage, always without borders and without boundaries, Cumbia alternated with the unbridled hip hop of the Catalan collective Hip Horns, which convincingly and originally fuses rap and hip hop sounds with the power of brass.

" Milan, the City that Rises " returns tonight to Piazza Leonardo da Vinci at 9:30 pm. Admission is free with a donation. The grand finale features " James Brown Is Dead " and the super funk-blues combo of Sir Waldo Weathers & the Henry Carpaneto Organ Trio : a top-notch group comprised of Sir Waldo Weathers, "The Pope of Funk," who spent over 15 years in the band of the great James Brown, and who also collaborated with a legendary figure like B.B. King; and the Henry Carpaneto Organ Trio, led by Henry Carpaneto, one of Europe's top blues musicians, who was named Best European Blues Piano Player (no coincidence). An unmissable evening for lovers of black music and rhythm and blues. The final event on Ferragosto (August 15th) is at Cascina Cuccagna , Municipio 4, at 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm. Admission is free.
